| Job Description | The successful candidate will have the following qualifications : Managing Underwriting, including hiring, training, terminating, annual reviews, motivating and monitoring all daily activities and contract underwriters (onsite & offsite). * Answer underwriting product, policy and procedure questions from underwriters, account executives, contract underwriters, onsite and off-site. * Respond in writing to PNC Quality Control and investor post closing and on-site audits within deadlines given. * Review Automated Underwriting cautions and denials, assist underwriters with difficult files, review for approval large loans which are above staff underwriters loan authority up to 2 million dollars. You and your skills - * Bachelors degree or Educational Equivalent * Minimum of five years experience in Underwriting * Minimum of five (5) years experience as Direct Endorsement Underwriter with supervisory experience * Excellent verbal and written communication skills with both internal and external sources * Ability to perform effectively under constant deadlines, volume pressures and potentially high dollar losses * Ability to effectively organize operations for both short term and strategic planning. |
